'Hotel is in a great central location. Unfortunately restaurant and bar closed early for the off-season, given mid-March. However local area still had lots of other eatery options, plus hotel was open for a breakfast. My room 5 was single in attic, but dormer window provided great view of bass rock, particularly at sunrise. '

'Great stay at the Marine! From the moment we arrived we had an outstanding stay and made to feel so special. All the service was friendly and very attentive. It is a short walk into North Berwick. The spa and pool areas are great, with lots of areas to use and never that busy! The ice baths are a great addition! The lawn restaurant was amazing and the pizzas were fabulous! 'This is the gold standard for B&Bs. Mark and Jeni are wonderful hosts and the house is nicely decorated and furnished. The breakfast was delicious, and we had so many choices! We would recommend this B&B to anyone staying near St. Andrews. There are stairs to the rooms, as is the case in most B&Bs and hotels in Scotland, so since we had a car, we pack a small weekend bag, so we don't have to carry heavy suitcases up and down. Thank you Mark and Jeni for a wonderful stay!'
