'The house is beautiful with enough activities to appeal to our eight adult grandchildren and one teenager. My adult children enjoyed the beauty and relaxing spaces on the first floor. The kitchen was well equipped and the views from the deck were spectacular. It was close enough to Blue Ridge if anyone wanted to shop or checkout the town but there was enough at the house that no one felt the need to spend much time away. It was a perfect place to relax.'

'We enjoyed our stay with a decent sized group. Everyone had enough privacy yet were still able to hang out together in the common areas. The kitchen was perfect for cooking a great meal for multiple people. '

'What a wonderful week with our children and grandchildren!! Many memories were made. We were blessed with some mild days and the kids even got to float down the creek! I think the favorite was the kitchen with all of its room as we prepared meals each day. The downstairs game room was the greatest babysitter.!!! we have already booked again for 2026 !!!'

'We chose this property because of the proximity to the Hiawassee River Railroad. There was plenty of room in the house for the 5 of us. Lots of outdoor activities around to keep you busy! '

'This property was amazing and worked so well for our visit to the area. We stayed during the Thanksgiving week and it allowed to have some great family hang out time. The property was very clean and exactly as advertised. The host was timely and responsive with communication. We will definitely stay here again. It felt like home!'

'We thoroughly enjoyed the property The area was very wooded and great for that area. We loved the wood house. It was easy to find and close enough to the things we did. Thanks for the great memories '

'Great property. It was immaculately clean. Communication with management was great. It was cold and needed extra wood for fireplace and it was delivered promptly but with a cost of $100 which we thought was uncalled for in that we paid over $11,000. for the stay and then was asked to pay for extra wood. Would not let $100 for wood spoil our wonderful get together. We purchased the woods and… All told; we were extremely happy with the accommodations. '

'My family and I stayed at the property for Christmas 2021.. We were so blown away by the beauty and serenity of this place; we decided to stay for Thanksgiving 2024.. The minute we opened the door, that same nostalgic feeling washed over us again.. We are all in love with this place!! We aren't back in Florida, and are already planning our next trip. '

'Fish Trap is a great place to get away and enjoy peace and quiet but also close enough to town to enjoy Blue Ridge and all its shops and restaurants. Brian the host is great. Quick to respond to any questions you might have. All you need to bring is your clothing and food. Anything you possible need is furnished. We have stayed here 2 times and will be coming back.'

'This was likely the most well stocked and prepared short term rental we have ever stayed at. Quality of knifes, pots and pans, excess trash bags, dishwasher pods, storage containers. The chef's kitchen was amazing and we cooked every day. Killer grill outside - lots of firepit tables and warmers - all were full with extra cannisters if we ran out of gas.
