'Had a girls weekend & stayed in the top floor 2 bedroom suite. It was a perfect getaway, with ample room. The kitchen was great for a quick breakfast before heading out and the living room was great for watching a movie at night. Parking was provided behind the house, but we didn’t need to move the car after parking originally because everything was very walkable. 'Cute little apartment like place above a garage on a horse farm. It was exactly as described, nice and quiet, clean and had just what we needed, mostly a place to sleep (comfy bed to note). It did have some other thoughtful touches, snacks, coffee and fresh creamer, filtered water, small fridge. Host was very responsive and friendly. Definitely will stay there again!'

'We arrived after dark and there was zero lighting toward the door (had to use iPhone light). Approaching the front door, we saw a bag of garbage ripped open and blocking our path to the door. We moved the garbage and retrieved the key, per directions. The key would not open the door. We attempted multiple times without success. Calls to the host went to an answering machine. 'This mountain home was all it promised to be and more. Beautiful and relaxing!! '

'Although the location was great, the accommodations were spartan for the price point and the room was freezing. Even when following the instructions for the climate control, the room never came close to warming up. It just wasnt a comfortable accommodation, and was overly expensive.'

'We really enjoyed our stay Host Scott was very informative and has very clear information. The house is very family friendly. We loved being able to use the fireplace. The hot tub was spectacular my wife usually never likes Hot Tubs but used this one twice. Kids loved the indoor basketball hoops and pac-man . My wife grew up with pac-man so she really loved it. We booked the house for my BD and we had some great memories. We were very lucky ski resort was open so the kids loved that. Thank so...

'Everything about the property was planned and built with top quality. It was easy to communicate with Terry who was very friendly. We have never stayed at a property with such access to privacy yet many on-site activities. We loved it. Well worth the drive!'

great road hotel, will stay again.

"Good location for travelling, even close enough to drive downtown Staunton. Hotel grounds very neat and good parking, first impression inside very clean and open and very friendly staff. Room was spacious and quite clean, bathroom needs some professional plumber do the caulking and removal of mold, though generally clean. Breakfast was quite varied, with as well choices for a healthy breakfast, though also very sugar loaded choices. Service at breakfast was perfect, the ladies kept all super clean and tidy!! Environmentally the breakfast was horrible, only Styrofoam, even melting plates under my toasted bagel, coffee cups melting, cutlery just unusable - please change to paper (recyclables)!? didn't use the gym or pool, but gym looked light and spacious. would stay again!"
