'This is not a 5 star hotel. Expidea advertised AC in the rooms. They tuned it off because the season is over. When the sun beats on the window its 85 degrees. Now way to cool the room. Advertise they no AC in the off season. Would not have stayed. The beach bar is closed. So is the restaurant. We ate at Romeo and Juliet the first night. No one was there. Empty and the server looked irritated we walked in. After ordering and being served a salad, he left. Went home. Told the bar tender his wife...

'Clearly management made a bad decision, trying to blame the poor maintenance on COVID-19. I considered the lies for only 1 night (had 5 booked) and quickly moved my family to the competition just up the coast. Bran-Brad-Bega should be labeled a 2-star hotel at best. Everything about it reminded me of trips to Romania in the early 90s. Sad situations were then blamed on fallout from the revolution; now some Romanians are trying to leverage COVID-19 to mask their incompetence!'

'Dit hotel is zo slecht en geen enkele ster waardig. De kamers waren vies. Een suite voor 4 volwassenen bestond uit een 2 persoonsbeschrijving en een slaaprek ja letterlijk een ijzeren rek met een topper van 4 centimeter. Hoe moeten 2 volwassenen hierop slapen? Het ontbijt was net zo smerig als de rest van het hotel. Geen woorden voor dit hotel en begrijp niet hoe jullie dit durven aan te prijzen als een 4 sterren hotel. In het hotel hangt een akelige waardoor je zo snel mogelijk weg wilt!...

'Perfectly situated near the promenade. Very nice and early breakfast. Fridge and coffee maker in the room. staff a bit sturdy. Nice balcony but no chairs or table on the balcony. This is really a pity. What is the point of a balcony with view on the promenade if you cannot sit on it. No free parking. Nice bed but room cannot be darkened completely.'

'The property was dirty. I changed 3 rooms and they were all dirty. The staff didn't offer air conditioner rooms, the refrigerator was not working. The staff was not friendly. I would not recommend this hotel. Coming back after 20 years from the US to visit I felt like I was in the Ceausescu era.'

'Very nice hotel, the pool was great .... but the service was close to awful, from the internet connection that was barely working, to the restaurant staff that either were not enough in numbers or they did not know how to handle it, to mowing the grass at 2 PM when kids should sleep, to housekeeping using the vacuum cleaner after the same 2 PM in the floor lobby or in the rooms with the door open and not changing towels, soaps, glasses, to front parking being used by hotel staff cars, to parking...
