'If you want a quiet winter retreat, this is ideal. The food at the restaurant was delicious and portions were huge. It is not easy to get to, but this brand new state park is still and peaceful in winter. I can see that summer would be very different, as the slow and shallow creek would be teeming with children.'

'Quaint, charming place for a short-term stay! Owner is tremendous with response time and making sure everything was in order. Room is just as described and pictured. Great location central to attractions and within walking distance in town. Cons: steep stairs to get to room, small shower/no tub and traffic noise but all tolerable with a short stay.'

'Its not secluded!! the bar is right accross property, just turn around you'd see and hear it. The residents are in the same location, you will see people, horses, dogs. If you don't mind that is the spot. There's several horse stalls that house horses for events and what not. Smells of poops all day. We were out all day long so it didn't matter. Its fun if you are not there to be alone!!'

'Great location nice size house although not sure anyone was there to prep for our arrival. The AC wasn’t on when we arrived to check in at 4 pm on a day it had been 90+ degrees and with no central air it was more than uncomfortable. There was no toilet paper, or trash bags, also not enough towels for the 4 people staying in the house. There were dirty dishes in the sink as well . Beyond that we had a great time close to all river accesss and downtown'
