Through the pictures in the advertissement we were already expecting a nice place, but when we got there, it was even nicer than we could have imagined. 'We have had a wonderul holiday in the Ardeche, staying at this grand gite in Joyeuse. We are a family of 3 with a teenage daughter so it was an ideal property for us with lots of space, including 2 en suite rooms and a further bathroom, well equipped kitchen and 2 terraces all to oursleves. 'A relaxing environment with amazing sunsets. We enjoyed the experience of staying in a beautifully restored chateau with ample room for everyone. We enjoyed the local village with food truck nights, bakery, mountain biking and walking at our doorstep and river swimming not far away. Great privacy at the chateau with stunning views. Host was hospitable and met us when we arrived .'

'Het appartementje is erg basic en klein, ongeschikt voor 6 personen maar wij waren met 4 gelukkig. De matrassen zijn van piepschuim, dus je krijgt kuilen als je lang ligt. De keuken is piepklein. Geen idee waar je de waterkoker en het koffieapparaat moet zetten want de stopcontacten daarvoor ontbreken. Gek genoeg is er weer wel een afwasmachine. De wifi is duur en werkt niet goed. Het park was vol in augustus wat bij het zwembad te merken was. Enkel Franse gasten helaas voor onze kinderen.'

'Very good ,the house was perfect everything was there and it was in a calm distance,,the owners are very kind and helpfull.a very nice swimmingpool with a great garden.it is in de middle of the ardeche so you cann see a lot of little villages and gorges the ardeche we had a great time we recommend this house'
