'We thoroughly enjoyed a 3-night stay at Grand Eagle, gathering with old friends to reconnect and relax. Everything was as promised - the house was super-clean, well-appointed, comfortable, fun and in a gorgeous setting, with LOTS of room to roam both inside and out. Complete privacy and quiet. We're lucky to live just an hour away, so our focus was on simply hanging out - eating, talking and enjoying good wine in front of the fireplaces, playing pool and the other arcade games for exercise, LOL....

Had no problems whatsoever also communication was great before and during stay with host. Would go again if traveling to the area.'

'Enjoyed our short trip to the Chimney Rock/Lake Lure area. Location was perfect and only 10 minutes from parks/trails. Property was very clean with many thoughtful guest amenities to make the stay comfortable and convenient. We really appreciated the many different spaces to relax and enjoy the mountain vibe. Communication was also excellent. One note is to try not to be startled by the falling acorns on the roof from the two large oak trees next to the home. Would definitely recommend this...

Roads are very winding-it takes a long time to get to other towns-if we lived in NC, hanging out at the house and lake would have just fine, but we also wanted to explore Asheville, Black Mountain etc. Such an amazing part of the country!'
