We stayed in a small unit which was one of 4 in the Farmhouse at the back of this huge, beautiful property. The unit itself was a little tight for the 2 of us but originally my husband wasn't going with me and changed his mind. Would have been just fine had it only been me. Serenity Cottage has shabby chic/Victorian decor (my taste) with crystal chandeliers, white painted furniture and some antiques. There is not a separate living room and the loveseat is in the bedroom. Wasn't really a problem but there is really no place to leave open suitcases and very little drawer space. My husband put his suitcase in the dining room. It was hot outside during the day but there is an air-conditioned in the bedroom which kept things cool.. The kitchen and bath were nicely remodeled and water pressure and temperature were fine. The unit was in the back of the building with a nice private lanai. We could hear the people above us. The property has multiple places for relaxing including a fire pit, lounging areas and the pool. The location is convenient to downtown, the event center and wine tasting. Communication with owners was very good.
