'My wife and I came down for a last minute trip to escape the tough winter weather in Upstate New York. A welcome respite. The place is great for 2 people-overlooking the beach and pool. Could be a little tight if you had more people. Clean, updated and easy walking distance to town. Captiva is still in a rebuilding mode after the two hurricanes last fall but that wasn’t a big deal for us. Spent most of our time at the pool or walking the beach. '

'only issue not being allowed to set temp below 72 our stay was in Feb. can"t image being there in summer months'

'The stay was an excellent experience! Its a nice property located close to the beach. There is a canal in the backyard so we had the joy of seeing some manatees. Being that it is a dog friendly place it allowed us the joy of taking our dogs with on vacation. The place was nicely decorated and spacious. I'd recommend others bring a blanket if cold easily as there was only one extra in the rental. There were also no oven mitts when we stayed which was slightly inconvenient for couple times we used...

'Condo has been nicely updated. However only on space per condo for parking and they are not marked. We came home early New Years Eve and all spots were taken. Luckily we knew others on island and could park at their house and walk but was definitely an inconvenience. Their are 4 condors and room for 5 cars- all were taken '

'This unit was beautiful & had everything we needed. We appreciated/read the books and games on site, along with beach towels. The property was a short walk out to the beautiful beach or pool area. We used the grills one evening to eat in & loved that convenience. It was super easy to communicate with the rental company and they were very helpful. The restaurants on Captiva were great:Green Flash and Mucky Duck were our favorites.'
