Cozy new lakehouse on Barren River Lake! Just a 5 minute drive from both Barren River State Park Marina and Walnut creek Marina. Easy walk out the backyard to the lakeshore in a secluded cove. Enjoy relaxing in the private hot tub with direct views of the water. Gather with family and friends in the large outdoor patio for a BBQ or roast marshmallows on the smokeless fire pit. For a better view, your crew can dine on the main floor porch outfitted with its own propane grill.
After a long day of lake fun, entertain the whole family with the air hockey table and board games!
All linens provided. Shampoo, conditioner and body/ hand soaps provided. Laundry and dishwasher soap and detergent provided.
Coffee k- cups and some condiments provided. Enough trash bags and toilet paper provided for stays 3 days or less.

Excellent stay!
We stayed overnight after a wedding, and had everything we needed. Wish we could have stayed longer. Two HVAC units kept every room comfortable, coffee was great and so enjoyable on the back porch. Great place!

This house was absolutely beautiful! Plenty of space for 6 adults. Parking was a little difficult but only because we had a trailer with 2 jeeps. That was on us! Normal everyday drivers would be just fine. Set on the back upper deck and watched the wild life (ground hog living under neighbors house) and used the grill.

Spring Break Weekend Getaway
The Farmhouse was Beautiful, we very much enjoyed all the Amenities! The only thing I would change isa TV in the main floor Living Room,we took my 91 year old Father with us and it was difficult for him to be able to watch TV. He isn’t able to go up and down stairs. But, that aside, we Really enjoyed everything there was to offer!!! I am very grateful for the Veterans discount you gave me… Thanks again for the use of your property. Penny

Perfect family house!
We rent a house every year for Thanksgiving and this house was the cleanest we've stayed in. It was a great size for me, my husband, and 3 adult children. Since we go at Thanksgiving, we don't leave the house for any sight-seeing so we always look for a house with lots of things to do and this house had plenty included. We really enjoyed our stay!

Mammoth Cave getaway
We stayed here for a short getaway to visit mammoth cave national park. It was a great little house with all of the amenities taken care of and nicely decorated. The kids really enjoyed the games, air hockey and hot tub! It was about a 40 minute drive to the park, but it seemed quick. We found it a little strange that the bathrooms in the bedrooms didn't have doors, but it wasn't a big deal. Overall it was perfect for our trip.

The cabin was very comfortable and clean. My wife and her best friend loved the hot tub. An excellent getaway. The only drawback was the steepness of the driveway. My 83 yo mother never fell, but the risk exists. Not sure how to fix it, but that was the only drawback. Otherwise, an excellent stay and location. Easy to get to Bowling Green and surrounding areas... Thank you for allowing us to check in early!

A beautiful stay
Perfect home on Barren river lake. Three fhoors with multiple gathering locations and a huge patio off the bottom floor with a great hot tub, a solo fire pit, and a huge table and chairs. Everything you need for a great stay was included. The host was very easy to contact and very helpful. Highly recommend

Sweet Getaway to the Lake
Our host and the property were pleasantly more than we expected. Check in/out were super easy. The host contacted us before check-in with helpful additional info, and contact info if we had any questions/requests during our stay. The property was beautiful, fully furnished, comfortable beds, and other thoughtful things throughout the property that made our stay memorable. It offered privacy, luxury, and easy access to a lake cove for fishing. We loved the outdoor space with a firepit and hot tub. We would definitely recommend this rental property and host for a great getaway to the lake or just to unwind for a while. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Very impressed with the farmhouse beautiful place was very clean, had everything we needed with plenty of room for our group of ladies. Loved the addition of hot tub, fire pit area, and air hockey to play! Our host even had a few extras like laundry detergent pods if we needed to wash anything and the most important..coffee! Great Time With Adult Kids & Spouses
My husband and I get together with our 3 grown children and their spouses every July. We all live no more than an hour from each other and see each other often, but it is fun just to get away with them without other family members. We always have a great time.
