'Bij inchecken bleek dat er geen badkamer was, dit was niet duidelijk aangegeven. Alles was vies en smerig en de receptionist wilde ons alleen upgraden naar een cabin die twee keer zo duur was. In de tussenklasse was een cabin vrij maar hij zei van niet. Dit kwam heel onbetrouwbaar over.'

'Location great, shower very good, bathroom small. Bed was great, the colour of the appartment was to dark for me, but that is taste. The lighting was bad, one knob for the whole room. Bedlights were not connected or not working. The gate didn’t close properly, safety issue. Two slats were missing so you could look in the room. Personal very friendly and everything very clean too. So my rate is 6/ 10'

'For us Bannisters was a mixed experience. The overall feel of the hotel is one of quality. The staff were universally friendly, helpful and efficient. The rooftop restaurant was excellent with a great ambience. The pool area was also a very pleasant place to spend some time though the pool itself was on the smaller side. So far so positive, but the room itself, whilst satisfactory, was not quite of the same quality.Wifi is provided by an unsecured network and signal strength is very variable...

'My best friend and I stayed here for a girls weekend. We were in room 10 (pastel blue themed) which had a huge king bed, separate living room and bathroom (shower only) plus kitchenette. Our living room looked over the pool which could get noisy with windows open, but there was something nice about the buzz of it. Check-in was easy (and friendly!), there were boards you could borrow and bikes as well. A stone's throw from the beach and if you took a shortcut through the complex, even shorter...

'Nice big room and bathroom. No window just a skylight in the ceiling. Very clean and lovely fluffy towels. The country club across the street is amazing!! Great food and entertainment. Family of kangaroos right outside the hotel. Close to the Jervis Bay resorts'
