'What can we say about this stunning house in the centre of Zabbar. From the start to the finish of our little Christmas and Birthday break everything was just perfect. Mary Rose and Adrian couldnt do enough, we were picked up by Julian who was lovely and met at the house by Adrian who showed us around inside and explained everything. We had water, milk, fresh bread, butter, fresh eggs, ham, cheese and some local beer left as a welcome package which was so kind. Amenities were great, a bakery...

'The property is an amazing 500 year old dwelling. It is conveniently located in the midst of a beautiful neighborhood and kind neighbors. It took us a few days to get used to the beds. They are made of springs, so if you are used to sleeping on a different kind of mattress, this can be challenging to the back.'

'We spent the holidays in Gozo and found this property in Ghajnsielem was perfectly located. It was exactly what we hoped for. Our host, Frank, made arrival incredibly easy. He picked us up from the ferry to help with our luggage as well as having delicious food waiting for us upon arrival. He proceeded to take us to the grocery store and then even picked up the 4th member of our group. He went through a map and highlighted walks and sights we should try to hit as well as giving detail...

'This house is no good if you have any kind of walking ishouse. Firstly is the fact that every room is on a different floor. The master bedroom with ensuite is on the ground floor, the next bedroom is up a flight of stairs and so on with each room up more stairs. Secondly is that the house is almost at the top of a hill. You can drive to the house but you can't park, you can only drop off. You have to park next to the marina and walk up all the steps to get to the front door, befour climbing four...

'Everything was even better than I expected. My multi-generational family (2 couples and a teenager) stayed at this amazing home for a week. The original stone features, including the arches, are on the first floor and the renovations on the second and third floors are first rate. Everything was clean and neat, which is not always the case. There is a fully equipped kitchen as well as a washing machine on the upper floor, which makes longer visits a lot less stressful. The host was very helpful...

'Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön, die Lage ist wie beschrieben, ruhig und schön. Trotzdem kann man zu Fuss in nur wenigen Minuten alles nötige erreichen. Die Familie um "Joe" ist sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns super beraten und betreut. Kurz es hat für uns wirklich alles gepasst, es waren sehr schöne Tage, sehr gerne wieder.'

'Lovely clean apartment, well equiped for self catering. We did book breakfast but the buffet restaurant closed due to being out of season. However the staff brought breakfast to order every morning to our room, which was lovely. I asked for an extra blanket (before we worked the heating out) which was delivered promptly. Nothing was to much trouble. Bars and restaurants all close by. '
