'We loved our stay!!!! It was super clean, quiet, and fit multi families so we could all be together yet in our own spaces! Was in walking distance to the town and just down the block and around the corner to the Mockingbird Cafe for breakfast! Great parking! The absolute only difficulty is there is not an elevator. Otherwise this was a huge, fantastic property to fit our big family is certainly a 10 out of 10!'

Check-in was a breeze largely in part to the excellent communication with our host, Jacob. Upon arrival the unit was clean and looked just like the pictures. 'The night before check in we were told our property was not actually available. The property manager did find us another place to stay but it was different. No pool but much larger. The new house was old and sort of run down but my family really loved it because it was so large. This whole experience has made me a bit hesitant about using VRBO. If there had been no place even if we got our money back we could not have had a place to stay.'

'We loved our stay at this property. We spent hours on the back porch watching birds, fish, and other wildlife. Our grandkiids came by and enjoyed fishing. You could get on the causeway in under 2 minutes if you wanted to get to Metairie or New Orleans, and minutes to everything you could want on the Northshore. We hope to go back and stay again!'

'The property was very private and quiet. It was in a quiet area and a safe-feeling neighborhood . I would recommend you pack EVERYTHING you could possibly need while there…spices, shampoo, coffee filters, keurig cups or reusable ones and coffee, or anything else you could possibly need. The apt was well-equipped with small kitchen appliances, hair dryer, ice trays and dishes. I would definitely stay here again but I would know to be better prepared next time.'

'We checked in on a Friday and upon check in I noticed the room was warm, so I checked our second room and it was warm. The thermostat said this it was calling for a/c but it wasn’t responding. I immediately contacted Heirloom to explain the situation. They assured me a HVAC technician would be out on Saturday to check and fix the problem.
