'This place is cute and tucked away in the small town of Picton. Even though it is a port town for the ferry, it was super quiet. The views were gorgeous and the little cottage style flat was cozy. The only issue being that the sink in the bathroom leaked all night, and there was no fan available, but only a small mark off for those as it wasn't a huge problem. The owner was incredibly nice and hospitable. We would stay in this place again for certain!'

'The tea and coffee provided in the room were poor- powdered with creamer and sugar. we'd prefer them unmixed and fresh milk to be available. Otherwise, good and a great outlook of the lake'

'As a short-stop spot, it is acceptable and well-priced for a small one or two-night stay for a couple that gets on well together and doesn't require space. It worked for us for two nights while we caught up with Lake Brennar again before heading for a more prolonged spell in Nelson.'

Walking distance to the wharf and restaurants. Friendly host, dog and Jack & Jill the sheep. Will definitely come back again'

Large living room on one end of building features TV, Wifi, games / books / toys for kids, and a wood stove. Kitchen was very functional and property clean. I would not recommend this property for winter occupancy, however. None of the bedrooms featured heat sources and the inside of the house on arrival felt colder than the outside.
