'This is such a beautiful and unique hotel experience. Renovated recently and still looks fresh. Staff were nice and the room was gorgeous and spacious. Highly recommend this hotel and visit the ghost room. We were going to learn to make pasta and felt safe walking 0.9 miles to the cooking venue. '

'I’ve stayed at this lodge twice, once in 2020 and now again in 2024. As someone who works for a 4-diamond hotel in downtown Chicago for the past 10 years, I’d like to offer my honest opinion. For what the property is both inside and out it’s a solid stay. The rooms are consistently clean, and I’ve never encountered any issues like trash etc... 'The property was beyond my expectations! I remember it many years ago and wasn't sure how it would be. I found out while staying there that the old property had been torn down and rebuilt all new. The rooms were very comfortable. The property offered a wonderful patio with firepits a bar and restaurant on site. Matthew was very helpful answering my questions about it. We only stayed for a night but would definately stay there again if visiting Sewanee! Thank you for an enjoyable and relaxing...

'Property was very clean and cozy with access to nearby shopping and attractions. Kitchen was well stocked. Property shares a wall with another structure, but we never heard any other people and it still felt very private.
