'We enjoyed this lovely home with a lot of charm! The pioneer owner’s story on the wall was fun to read, too. The location was great and was easy to walk to shops and the one restaurant that was open this time of year. The beds were firm but comfortable and I slept great! The one bathroom was a little tough but we knew that ahead of time so it was ok! It was a nice touch to have body wash, shampoo, dish soap, paper towels, food seasonings, etc supplied. 'We traveled to Keosauqua to attend a family funeral. The cabin was so much better than a hotel. It allowed us a quiet place to gather and remember our loved one. '

'This is a great place with a beautiful view! It has everything you need for cooking and serving! The place was very clean and neat. The young people loved the pool. The only problem we had was several hornets nests, which caused three little kids to get stung. We bought spray and sprayed the nests.'

The home itself was laid out wonderful and it was a very clean home. There was bad weather with tornado watches and the full basement came in handy just for comfort!.
