'This is true to form travelers motel at it’s finest in todays market. Truly accommodating staff that do a great job and understanding as well. Between having 2 dogs, rebooking online morning off checkouts without even hint annoyance from staff, ransacking the breakfast buffet every morning as well….This is a great motel run by great people. Can’t ask for much more than that. '

'The Layfette is a historic hotel so it comes with the quirkiness of age. The floors squeak and the rooms are more compact but that is just part of the experience of staying in a hotel from another era. Our room had a newly redone bath and shower in a period black and white tile that fit the theme. The best surprise of the two-day visit was the breakfast. We are all accustomed to the typical hotel breakfast with plastic eggs, etc but the Layfette must have a Michelin Chef in that kitchen. They...
