Hotels met roomservice in Southwest Illinois

'We booked the Holiday Inn in Carbondale as our son had a tour of SIU. It is a quck drive to campus. We asked to check in and hour early and was told we needed to join HGI in order to do that. The desk clerk enrolled us. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was just ok. Nothing hot. And they did not have white milk for the cereal. I think they are remodeling in order to have a hot breakfast. '

'Liked having a bar available. Coffee was weak, though and wished the continental breakfast was included. '
