Historische hotels in Southwestern Virginia

'One of my favorite properties to stay at when I'm traveling. Great amenities, location, etc. My only complaint is that parking is too expensive for Roanoke. I feel like I'm paying rates commensurate with a much larger, more crowded city. It would be great if they could bring those down.'

'Stayed here for the weekend for a football game with our family and some friends. The house is close to campus yet it feels so far away. The host was very responsive. The house was exactly as described. The property was just gorgeous, especially in the fall.'

'There was mold and other stains on our sheets along with over a dozen cigarette burns in the comforter. When we asked the gentlemen that checked us in he said he couldn't even get into the linen room for "fresh sheets" as he was only covering here and they didn't leave him necessary keys. Upon checking out I mentioned these problems and received a loud emote then saying she would report these problems, but a week later I have heard no response from the hotel. '
