'This was like stepping into a different time and place. The house, although dated, has a seamless European vibe with fixtures and details that are uncommon, authentic and charming. The home was obviously much loved and cared-for when it was built and is an absolutely perfect summer home. The location is so beautiful, overlooking the turquoise water of ghost lake with multiple patios from which to take in the view. We went with friends and cooked gourmet meals together in the open kitchen then...

'Email sent after I requested info on checkin saying we were on our way-telling us we needed to bring towels. Someone working on shower when we arrived and did not get it fixed. Not enough amenities for number of people it says accommodates. Photos online must have been taken a few years ago-interior is well used.'

'Everything was clean. Beds were really comfortable, quality and amount of pillows was great. Had all the towels we needed. Would stay here again. '

'It was a nice one bedroom appartment. We did not use the kitchen so I cannot comment on it. The only nice thing would've been if there was an outlet or table lamp with a usb port in it. They did have wifi but I had to email them to get the password. The check in and out were easy. The damage deposit should be returned within 7 days of check out.'

'Clean, convenient location near Calgary airport. Host was accommodating and responsive. Unsure if guest wifi access was available though as we did not inquire but would have been appreciated. Also bringing an extra comforter or blanket is a must.'
