'Our apartment was perfect: very clean inside, two bathrooms, everything worked perfect, beds very comfortable, inside the ancient walls and easy to get to everything. The only minor issues were first entering the steps up were dirty and then the door lock was fussy. But then walking in was perfect and I have no problem giving 5 stars.'

'The Pucic Palace I see as a hotel de charme. Staff very helpful and friendly. We were there in April 2022, so a bit early in the season. As such their outside terrace (elevated one) was not yet open. Breakfast was good with some special touches. Only downside I can think of there is no lounge to sit and read. 'If you don't want to walk stairs, Dubrovnik is probably not for you. This apartment (the loft) is not any different in that regard, but totally worth it. It looks better than on the pictures, is very well maintained, super clean and all the accessories you need. We did not experience any strange smell (like some people expressed in reviews) and met with only very friendly reception staff.
