If our exclusive East Beach rentals fit your idea of the perfect St. Simons Island getaway, then the Vitamin Sea Cottage is bound to be your ideal home away from home. This 6-bed, 5-bath oceanfront property is designed to welcome up to 12 guests at a time. Newly renovated in 2022 and 2023, this vintage East Beach cottage was completely remodeled with a brand new chef's kitchen and all new bathrooms. The large backyard and 35 X 12 pool (can be heated upon request for $45/day) is the perfect outdoor space year round!

Any group gatherings and events at this property are limited to the number of occupants (12 persons). Events such as weddings, rehearsal dinners, etc. are not permitted.

The cottage has two sets of washer and dryers in the laundry room
Some of St. Simons' beaches are not accessible during mid/high tides. You will always have plenty of beach in front of the Vitamin Sea Cottage... high tide, low tide, any tide!

Great Property

Overall we really enjoyed our stay! The property manager was very responsive with a couple questions we had. The only drawback was that we could not walk on the path to the beach because of all the rain - it was basically muddy puddles. The beach is only a short 5 minute walk away so it was all fine.

There were plenty of bedrooms, and bathrooms. Great outdoor space for large group and outdoor shower. Kitchen was well stocked. We had an issue with dishwasher and property management reacted quickly.

Perfect House

We loved our stay at this home. It has the perfect location on East Beach. The pool was so good to have and we heated it because it was chilly the week we went in April. The home had all the towels, beach gear, some bikes, games, etc. Great furnishings and the Apple TV was also nice to have to watch movies at night. Check in and out was smooth and we will stay here again.

Backyard oasis!

What a fabulous stay at this property. It accommodated our needs and there was plenty of space for each guest. Sitting out on the patio watching the sun rise was the highlight of our stay! Our dog loved the fenced in backyard and the easy walk to the beach!

Perfect Location!

There’s a special feel to this home’s older style that speaks of the history of the island that isn’t equally represented in East Beach, with all the other new builds and remodels. This home has retained its charm, from the original wood floors to the stained glass windows. It feels attended to and loved; cherished for the memories made. And oh- did we make some new memories! The location is perfect. I felt right in the center with access to Mallory Street shopping and foods, the beach is either a quick walk or a quick golf cart trip to Coast Guard Station, and main grocery store is also a quick golf cart trip. Taking in the sunset above the marsh on our evening strolls was spectacular. The rooms were well furnished and clean, with comfortable linens. The layout worked well for our group, with the eldest on the main level bedroom/en suite and kids sharing the double rooms above. The pool was warmed to a very comfortable temperature for mid-April (we also had unseasonable cooler winds!- so the heated pool was nice!) and the size and structure of the pool were perfect and beautiful. The kitchen was stocked also to perfection. Everything worked and everything was appreciated. Thank you for a wonderful Spring Break 2022 with family!

Large home with heated pool

The house had a beautiful outdoor area with a wonderful heated pool. The path to the beach was flooded so we had didn’t get the benefit of it being “ocean front”. The downstairs bedroom needs a dresser as there is nowhere to put folded clothesand it has the feel of a converted garage area. The downstairs bathroom needs a vanity as it is quite small. The house is great for a large family or group and the kitchen and two family areas were great.

Awesome beach house!

Vitamin Sea is a wonderful vacation home in an excellent location next to East Beach. The house is very clean and beautifully decorated with comfortable furnishings. The fenced backyard was fantastic for our dog to run around in. The yard and patio areas have very attractive landscaping with plenty of seating options. We opted for heating the pool (in March) and had hours of enjoyment in the 90 degree water. We also relaxed at the lovely beach just a short walk from the house. The property managers were very easy to work with as an added bonus. The only glitch we had was when the smoke alarm/carbon monoxide detector started beeping in the downstairs bedroom in the middle of the night. The alarm is newer and had a lifetime battery, so we suspect it was triggered by humidity in the room. It shut off after we opened the bedroom door and lowered the AC a bit. It never happened again once we kept the bedroom door open. It was a minor inconvenience but I'm mentioning it so others might know to keep that door open. Overall, our stay was fantastic. We've rented many beach houses over the years and this was definitely one of our favorites!

Perfect Private Beach House

Upon arrival, the house was better than we expected. Classic beach house in every sense, with white wood paneling and hardwood floors. Very nicely decorated with an inviting entry looking straight through the kitchen and family room to the rear yard/pool. Love the way the house is setup. Great kitchen. Comfortable beds and linens. Really enjoy the privacy. Perfect place to unwind at the back of the pool looking towards the ocean. The rear acreage has been great for the dog to run and protects against beach traffic. Pool has been great as well. Perfect water temperature. Appreciate the landscape lighting. And the new fence and rear gate look good and compliment the house nicely. And property management was super responsive and more then helpful with our two requests. We enjoyed the property tremendously. This has been our first time to St. Simon and will look forward to returning and hopefully staying at Vitamin Sea Cottage again. Terrific. Thank you.

Vitamin Sea Vacation

Everyone in our family enjoyed our stay at Vitamin Sea Cottage. Our entire family of ten (6 adults and 4 children) stayed for eleven days and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The cottage was well equipped for a family and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook all our meals at “home.” It was also great to have two sitting areas so we could have a separate place for work when needed.

The house is in a lovely area. We loved how comfortable the beds and couches were. We had an issue with the air conditioning upon arrival and the response was quick and efficient which was much appreciated! The kitchen could use more space for groceries since there are usually bigger groups in the house. But other than that it was a wonderful stay!

Very Relaxing!

We had a wonderful stay at Vitamin Sea! Our kids (and us) loved the pool and the yard. The house was clean and had plenty of items to make it home away from home for a week. The beach was a short walk away, too! The street was quiet and perfect for riding bikes and taking our pups walks. We are very pleased!

Great location to beach and restaurants. House was a little older, but in good shape. Good price too. Couple small issues when we first got checked in , but they were quickly resolved. Great pool, outdoor shower for the kids. Our first time at Saint Simons and loved the homey feel.
