'The house was just as described: close to the beach and very nice. I was very impressed with the cleanliness. The only negative, and it is small, is that the tub shower on the main floor is EXTREMELY slippery and poses a hazard. A few tub appliques might be in order. Otherwise, we LOVED our visit and hope to return.'

'Great house and a very quiet gated neighborhood, beach access within neighborhood and city access on east side.The house is huge and the master bed is very comfortable.It’s on the east end and close to the Strand, easy navigation to what ever your plans entail, would and will stay here again'

'This loft was perfect for my friend and I’s quick getaway trip to Galveston!! It was minutes away from the strand which was super convenient since that’s all we planned to do! It’s a beautiful old renovated building, we loved the old wood staircase. We looked up when the building was built and I believe it said 1915! Super cool historical building! The kitchen was perfect and had all the utensils we needed. The bed was actually comfortable!! There was extra pillows in the closet which was nice....

'We came to Galveston to attend the Dickens on the Strand and celebrate my sister’s 50th birthday. We had an amazing time. We normally rent a beach house but I was happy to find a historic home with room for our family. We had a wonderful time. The home is historic and so charming. We will definitely stay again. '
