'Note that the street address is a number AND a letter (we weren't told the letter part). Also note, there is a golf course between the property and the beach so it takes about 25 minutes to walk there - a pretty walk. We found a lake nearby with lovely picnicking spots.'

'Apart from the dodgy exit due to flax leaves that need cutting back, this place was in a great location for heading out to all the gardens we visited. Also great for bike rides to Rotomanu and the coastal pathway. The house itself was basic, but had everything we needed including a very comfy bed'

'The property is per photos. It's location can't be beat! Close to the main part of town, forgotten highway and great dog friendly bush walks are a stone's throw away. Be mindful that the property is not fenced, as per photos, but this was not an issue for our 2 dogs. As mentioned in a previous review there is no curtain/blind for the lounge which would have been nice. Beds comfortable, shower fabulous, everything in good working order. I can't speak highly enough about the property manager!...

'We really loved the house and the setting. Dan and Bena have obviously put a-lot of love into the place and it feels like a real home. The highlight was feeding the chickens and collecting their eggs. Also loved watching the display of birds from the deck and the outside fire and stars at night. . '

'A relaxing retreat in a quiet location. Vintage style granny vibe decor, this quaint cottage had plenty of room. The kitchen was well stocked. TV not smart but OK. The garden was nice with lots of fruit trees. Washing machine in bathroom was good but no extractor fan in bathroom and no insect screens to keep bugs out if windows left open.Beds were varied. Twin beds very comfy and queen bed too soft and very high off ground. Nice to have bed in conservatory, made a fabulous day bed for relaxing...

'Great house close to beach. Really suitable for 2 or 3 families to stay together comfortably. Lovely backyard for kids to play.Only issue was BBQ had been left in a very dirty state'
