'This is the second time I've stayed here. As before, the unit was really clean and beautifully appointed with every mod/con you would want . The whole environment is very chill! This time there were no robes in the unit to wear to the hot tub. I had to hunt them down in the pool house. Irritating, but not the end of the world and the gentleman at the front desk was kind and helpful. I didn't realize when I booked what percentage of the total was for the cleaning fee. 'A perfect spot for a base to explore Denman, put your kayaks in the water and visit friends in Courtenay, all of which we did. This quirky cottage has a gorgeous view, with great spots for morning coffee and walks on the beach. Inside you have all the amenities you need, from blankets to games to a decent kitchen - only caution is that if you're a cook, best not to plan for an elaborate meal as counter space is minimal. This spot gave us just the weekend we were looking for!'
