'The villa is great. The view over the sea to Mount Athos is wonderful. My only reservation is that the drive up to the villa is quite steep and in poor condition. Also, the nearest supermarket or bakery is about 10 kilometers away. Aliki is just a seaside resort, not a village. However, the path around the peninsula is really wonderful, taking in the old marble quarries and an ancient sanctuary. The beach on the east side is much quieter than the main beach. '
