'Another mom and I spent two nights in the Alone Mill Schoolhouse while our sons enjoyed a weekend tour of VMI. The house was close to campus and offered all the conveniences we needed. The setting was beautiful! I wish we would have had more time to enjoy our surroundings! Maybe we will stay here again if our boys become cadets!'

'We were in town to attend a Washington and Lee football game . This rental was perfect. The charm, decor and well stocked kitchen made the rental a solid 10. The location, parking, dog friendly atmosphere ,comfy bed, and vintage decor made it hard to check out. We will be back!'

'This home did not disappoint. We had everything we could possibly need. I loved the little signs around the home that explained different things. The welcome basket was a very nice touch. It was warm and cozy. There are just so many nice little touches you just need to rent this beautiful home and experience them for yourselves. 'What a lovely, historic farmhouse! Our family enjoyed the beautiful setting and landscapes surrounding this adorable farmhouse. We were witness to beautiful sunrises and sunsets and our kiddos absolutely loved watching the cows move about on the fields around us. Highly recommend this little piece of serene history in the hills. '
