We spent several hours on the back porch reading and watching the waves crash against the rocks. 'perfect for us. rustic. comfortable beds. could use some water system TLC (sulfur is harmless but strong in all tap water for bathing). couldn't get the wifi to work, but it's Mendocino County, and we are mostly intentionally disconnected and/or outside all day. the outside space here at the property is great, even if you go nowhere and just decide to steep in the gorgeous views. we'll be back!'

'The location is incredible. Easily walk to everything downtown, the views of the headlands out the north windows is just so peaceful and relaxing. 'This adorable house is perfectly situated in downtown Healdsburg close to the square and loads of quality dining and wine tasting. Just right for two couples. Beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. Will keep in mind for the future!'

Average but pricy

"Average in every way. Didn’t sleep very well. We had a room on the ground floor and when the guests in the room above us walked we could hear the creaking of the floor. In addition the guests in the room above us lighted their BBQ on the passage. Open fire in a wooden building is dangerous and we were surprised hotel staff did not act on this dangerous situation. Complementary breakfast was tasty, but started at 7:30 am. Quite late. All in all a disappointing experience given the high price we had to pay for the room."
