'Our family of 6 really enjoyed staying here. There was enough space for everyone and it really is just a 5 minute walk to Airport Beach (also known as Kahekili). We had no problems with cleaniless. The little complex the cottage is apart of is quiet and well maintained. Our family spent a lot of time on the lanai enjoying the ocean view and breezes. We would definietly stay here again. '

It is easy to get to from the airport by car, has grocery options within a few miles, and is within walking distance of the beach and several restaurants. The owner is very responsive to needs. 'My wife and I stayed in the Gingerbread House for a week in June. Eve welcomed us and helped us get oriented with the area, even suggesting places to visit and restaurants to check out. She was very quick to respond to questions. The location of the Gingerbread House itself is generally located in the middle of Maui away from the resorts, where we were able to enjoy a more authentic Hawaiian experience.
