DEZE FANTASTISCHE HISTORISCHE TOWNHOUSE APT IS STEPS WEG VOOR ALLES!
Volledig gerestaureerd Engels souterrain in het luxe bakstenen herenhuis uit 1865 biedt modern vakmanschap en comfort. Prachtig ingericht en licht gevuld, dit toestel is pal in het hart van Capitol Hill!

Een afgesloten, afgesloten ingang leidt naar dit afzonderlijke appartement. Zodra je binnenkomt, loop je een zeer comfortabele woonkamer binnen met twee koetsen, hardhouten vloeren met oosterse tapijten, een open haard, een 50-inch flatscreen-tv en een tafel om te dineren. De volledig uitgeruste keuken bevat alle voorzieningen - oven, magnetron, broodrooster, koffiezetapparaat, keukengerei, potten, pannen, borden, glazen; eigenlijk alles wat je nodig hebt in een keuken!

Er zijn twee slaapkamers, een met een queensize bed, de tweede met een eenpersoonsbed. (Het apparaat is ook geschikt voor een vierde gast met een eenpersoonsbed dat beschikbaar is wanneer de eigenaar van tevoren op de hoogte wordt gesteld). Fris beddengoed, kussens, dekens en dekbedden zijn aanwezig. Er is een complete badkamer met schone handdoeken, shampoos / conditioners, douchegels, zeep en een haardroger.

De unit is ook volledig voorzien van airconditioning, inclusief Wifi, Direct TV met HBO & Showtime, een wasmachine / droger en een tijdelijke parkeervergunning voor parkeren op straat. Een extra bonus is het gebruik van de prachtig aangelegde achtertuin met tuinmeubilair.

Gunstig gelegen 3 blokken van het US Capitol Building, en 3 blokken naar Eastern Market. Gemakkelijk te voet naar meer dan 15 restaurants, supermarkten, slijterijen en buurtwinkels en boetieks. 2 minuten lopen naar bushaltes en 5 minuten lopen naar de metrohaltes Capitol South of Eastern Market Metro.

Christie’s place in Capitol Hill is wonderful! Very clean and nicely decorated. Location can’t be beat and host was very responsive. Only thing I wish was more of a description of the rooms. One room was a converted porch, which worked for my 11yr old but definitely got a bit chilly at night. He didn’t mind since he had his own space. Overall I highly recommend this rental!

Excellent location, perfect for my family of 4. the kitchen is a bit tight and you have to go through one of the bedrooms to get to the bathroom but those were both more than made up for by the location and convenience. The place had everything we needed.

Wonderful Stay
Lovely property in a beautiful neighborhood, just a couple blocks from the US Capitol. We parked the car when we arrived and never had to drive anywhere again. All of the sites we wanted to visit were within a reasonable walking distance. Christie was a wonderful host who checked in with us and made sure we had everything we needed. She was also very responsive to any questions we had. If you're wanting to visit all of the sites around the US Capitol area (Smithsonian museums, White House, US Capitol, all the monuments at the National Mall, etc.) this is a perfect place to stay. This apartment was easy to get to -- just a couple blocks from the Capitol Building - easy access to both bus and train metro system. Host was very responsive and easy to work with whenever we needed anything. Looking forward to coming and staying here again.

Great location!
We took a quick trip to DC with family who were visiting from South-Africa and this location was absolutely perfect! It is close enough to walk (or a short ride share) to everything you would want to see in Washington DC and only blocks away from a bunch of restaurants. Christie was awesome and let us check in early to drop off our luggage, since we didn't rent a car. All was as advertised. We will definitely stay there again.

Highly Walkable Capitol Location
Excellent stay in a cozy, charming apartment! My daughter and I were able to walk virtually everywhere, which was a wonderful bonus. We toured the White House, the Capitol, the Library of Congress, visited many of the museums on the Mall, and our home away from home was a lovely place to relax in at the end of the day. The United States Botanical Gardens were a stroll away as well. Christie was an excellent host, responsive and friendly. Street parking was a breeze. Great location for anyone wanting to have walking access to some of Washington DC’s most iconic sites.

So close to everything
We spent a week, the apartment was just as described. So pleased with the location to metro, shopping, and dinner out. The backyard is amazing. You don’t even know your in the city. Location, location, location!!
415 is in a very quiet neighborhood, but is just blocks from the Capitol, Senate and Congressional office buildings, the Supreme Court, numerous cafes. The many Smithsonian museums are just a few blocks further past the Capitol. If your visit is to see the national monuments and don't fancy walking, Uber is the way to go. The Metro is wonderful, but if you'd still be doing a lot of walking both getting to the stop and then to the place you want to see. Reservations at popular restaurants are a must, so plan ahead. We made a detailed week long itinerary, reservations and had zero problems.

This apartment suited our needs quite well! A few small edits: it’s a solid ten min walk from Capitol South metro stop, not five. For folks using the kitchen, there could have been a few more supplies (ie, no spatula or colander, and we had to order things like cooking oil and coffee). But the place was clean and well-maintained and situated. Thank you!!

Such character!
Lovely apartment with a seating area in the back of house. The beds are comfy, kitchen had everything needed to cook. Close to several eateries, markets, modes of transportation. It was a perfect spot to get around and see the sights. Host was nice, had an inforamtion packet full of stuff. Gives great instruction for our stay. Their corgie was a perfect furry fix for me missing my dog. Would definitely stay again.

The location of the apartment was perfect. Metro was close and a great variety of restaurants as well! Beds were comfortable. We bought food at the close Trader Joe’s market and utilized the kitchen to make breakfast in the mornings. The only downside was the location of the bathroom…. It was located in one of the spare rooms and the sliding door was pretty “squeaky”, so our son was disturbed frequently when he was resting or sleeping at night 😕 other than that- no complaints!
