Calling all nature lovers who want to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy a few days away in our semi off-grid mountain cottage. Experience eagle eye views and 25 acres of unspoiled nature including ancient trees and hidden caves. Meditate in our Sacred Circle, walk the Letting-Go Spiral, or soak up new energy amongst our crystals. Cook a delightful meal in the well-equipped kitchen (incl. juicer, Thermomix etc.) or watch a movie using our projector.

Eagles Nest is a place for people to enjoy a calmer and simpler way of life. Here you can unwind, spend time with your loved ones, tune back into nature, and most importantly, reconnect with yourself. You’re far away from the noise and hustle of the city, surrounded by pristine nature and peaceful birdsong.
Laguna is just a ten-minute drive away. Here you’ll find petrol, art and gift shops, a pub/café that has delicious take-away food as well as Raza's amazing grocery store 'Laguna Providore'.
Twenty minutes away is the historic village of Wollombi that offers numerous wine cellar doors, restaurants, cafes, art galleries and a post office.
There are countless beautiful hiking tracks close by for all experience levels including the Great North Walk. Several sacred Indigenous sites of great significance can also be accessed within a short drive.
Our cosy cottage has all the amenities to make your stay comfortable. We have a landline phone in the house. And around the house there’s patchy Optus mobile phone and data reception - good enough for emails, phone calls and light internet usage. Please note that there is no Telstra reception at all on the property.
We provide an Optus mobile broadband modem for a more robust data reception at our 'office' bell tent which is approx. 200 meters away from the cottage. Hour-long Zoom sessions or movie downloads are no problem here. The beautiful office tent also has a basic solar setup to allow for charging laptops and mobile phones.
If you are looking for a place to unwind, play and relax then we are certain that our tranquil nature getaway at 'Mutterliebe' is perfect for you. If you prefer a glamorous city lifestyle with 5G internet, the latest home entertainment, Netflix on plasma screens, buzzing nightlife, and loud parties, then this is not the stay for you.
