Roe Summer Cottage, Suite B

3 slaapkamers, 2 badkamers in verbouwd Victoriaans. Kom naar de Roe Summer Cottage! In de jaren 1800 fungeerde Roe Cottage als een zomerpension. In latere jaren raakte het in verval, maar we hebben het met een complete renovatie weer tot leven gebracht. Suite B omvat de gehele 2e verdieping van het gebouw en is geschikt voor 8 personen in 3 slaapkamers. Eenvoudig inchecken met code voor toegang die vóór uw aankomst is verstrekt.




Uw tweede verdieping ingang leidt naar een open concept keuken en woonkamer. De keuken is gevuld met eenvoudige gerechten, glaswerk, bestek en kookgerei. De woonkamer heeft comfortabele zitplaatsen, een flatscreen-tv met een grote kabelkanaalselectie. Er is een tweede tv in een andere slaapkamer. Het eetgedeelte heeft een grote tafel met stoelen voor 8 personen.

Bedden zijn allemaal gemaakt met fris beddengoed voor uw komst. De twee volledige badkamers zijn gevuld met schone handdoeken en washandjes.

Er is een eigen oprit met parkeergelegenheid voor 4 auto's allemaal in een rustige straat in het centrum van Watkins Glen. Roe Summer Cottage ligt op korte loopafstand van het Seneca-meer, Watkins Glen State Park en Franklin Street, de belangrijkste verkeersader van Watkins Glen.

First time in Watkins Glen
First impressions: roomy, clean, neat and excellent location! Was especially fond of the coffee shop across the street. The apartment is bare bones so take note of the amenities and stop at the store on your way for coffee, tea, soap or shampoo. There were a few maintenance issues but the host was quick to respond. Overall, you can’t find a better location. Great trip!

This property is in a great location to easily walk to the marina, the park, restaurants, etc. Lovely town, beautiful area, nice main street attractions, and friendly people. Property was clean and had all necessities. Property management was very responsive.

Great location and a comfortable stay
The Roe summer cottage is very nice, and the location is perfect. We were able to walk to downtown, Seneca Lake, and the Watkins Glen State Park. We actually went to the park twice we were so close. My husband enjoyed "Drive the Glen" at the Watkins Glen racecourse and driving the original road course from 1948. Lastly, it was nice be next to church, and we walked over for Sunday mass. We had a great family trip and will be back!

Large beautiful suite in Watkins Glen
The suite was great, we had a full house 5 adults 2 children and the space was perfect for orderign in, cooking as well as going out in the area to explore. We did have some issues parkign as the spots were not alocated and the drive way was shared, but we made the most of it!

Great location and clean property. Walking distance to Watkins glen park and restaurants. Neighboring Church bells ring loudly between 10pm to 8 am so bring earplugs if you don’t want to be woken up that early.

The property is in great location as described on website. Manager was very responsive to calls and acted immediately to fix issues. My only negative was not enough plates towels cups only 5 of each. Very limited even toilet paper and paper towels ran out. Need more stock ..

Clean, convenient & classic
The host was very responsive to my many questions. Check in was available on time. Maybe I didn't read the listing details closely enough but it is valuable to know in advance that this is an old Victorian that was changed into three separate apartments. A on the first floor, B on the 2nd and C on the 3rd. No elevators if you need them. Updated with modern appearance and colors but very sparsely decorated, which for us was not a problem or a negative at all. Very convenient to the small downtown of Watkins Glen. Only one block walk to the historic start finish line of the 1948 Grand Prix and another block to the amazing State Park buildings. Valuable to us was the adequate parking for a truck and car trailer beside the house. Next door neighbor was very friendly and welcomed us to the neighborhood. Quite a pleasant touch. Our unit B had three bedrooms with 4 queen beds.total. two full baths.

Great house with great space!
My friends and I stayed here for our girls weekend. The house had a great amount of space and the location was within walking distance to a lot of shops/restaurants which we loved! The house was very clean and exactly as pictured. It would be great if a full length mirror could be added somewhere in the house and extra blankets would be a great addition as well!
