'The lake access was so pretty and having all the basics for kitchen and laundry was so helpful. Going in the heat of summer was the only issue, as there is just one AC unit in the living room so both the bedroom and the kitchen stay really warm. 'The property is very nice. It's good the advertisement states there are 2 flights of stairs to climb. Probably only an issue for older folks like us, but we were aware and accepted it beforehand. 'House is beautiful. Lake is perfect. We had a great stay. Lots of amenities available. Great location. We came in for Maine 70.3 and it was so easy to get to the race and all the activities prior. Even could jump in and swim at the lake. If you book for 6 guests and most are kids just be aware that the 3rd guest space is down through the garage. Our kids are old enough but if you have younger, you will not share a floor with them. It worked for us We enjoyed our visit.'

'Beautiful place. Loons, eagles, Ospreys, and good fishing. No A/C made a couple of days miserable when heat and humidity was in the mid-nineties. Many fans available, though. Would be more ethical to let people know before booking that tap water is not drinkable. Saying a kayak is available is a bit of a stretch (small plastic boat).'
