'It was a small room and had to squeeze between the bed and wall to get in. Almost had to use the foot stool to get in the bed secondary to being so high up and the mattress was extremely firm. The pillows were super soft which did not go with the firm bed, woke up several times in the night to re fluff the pillows and still woke up with a sore neck. The thing that bothered me the most was the curtain in the bathroom was screwed to the wall and you could not close them for privacy. The building...

'We are delighted to have found this beautiful VRBO and the quaint area of St. Charles! We were coming to St Louis to see our Phillies play the Cardinals but didn’t want to stay in the city. This was a PERFECT spot. Close enough to go exploring the city, but then coming back to the quiet historic streets of St Charles. The Guest House was cozy and unique with a peaceful view of the Missouri River just a golf stroke away. Steeped in history but certainly not lacking any modern amenities needed....
