'I was there to ride my motorcycle and see Nova Scotia. This location was perfect for getting around, not far from Rt 1, the highway and Trunk 8. So it was close to riding the coastline, cutting across the island or the highway to every where else. Returning back to a quiet place to enjoy the thoughts and views of the day’s ride was made easy with this private setting.'

'Margaretsville is a very small, but very scenic town. Dining options are limited to a few restaraunts a short drive away from town. The accommodation is one small room adequate for single or couple only, beautifully kept, with an outside hottube and beautiful view right on the ocean. Hosts (Liz and Ray) could not be nicer or more helpful. Middleton is a good size town with all conveniences a short drive away.'

'We stayed here for a week in the Fall and it was absolutely amazing! The hosts, Shirley/Jack/Cooper are amazing (Don't tell Jack, but Cooper was our favorite) they made sure we had every thing needed to be comfortable and were extremely welcoming. The views from the bedroom are breath taking, especially on a stormy Fall evening. The community of Margaretsville is incredibly picturesque with no shortage of views and history. I highly recommend them for a quiet getaway.'

'We had a great stay from August 20-27. We chose this spot as it was close to family in the area and we wanted to be able to base ourselves close to them while also being within an hour or so of a lot of Halifax, Peggy's Cove, etc. The cottage was a great size, with lots of space for our family to relax and spread out. The kitchen was very well-appointed. The outdoor space was just wonderful - we enjoyed a campfire almost every night, and during the day the kids spent hours in the paddleboat...

'A well appointed and charming cabin on the cliffs off the Bay of Fundy will not disappoint. The "outdoor" facilities were clean and very acceptable. Our favorite part was sitting in front of the picture window or at the campfire watching the sunsets and the tides coming in and out. We were so happy with our decision to rent this amazing property. '

'Was a wonderful stay and we ended up with more family arriving with kids so we were able to sleep lots!! Had everything you need!! Only feedback would be-the gas was cut while we were there which resulted in lots of grass being tracked inside and we spent a lot of time cleaning grass out of the cottage-which is not how you want to spend your vacation/time.'

'We’ve stayed at this hotel a couple of times. First time was great. Clean room, quiet, comfortable bed, pleasant staff. Our second stay was on a Friday night and there were so many noisy neighbours. We tried getting to sleep around 10pm but heard doors slamming and occasional music until 3am. In hindsight we should’ve called the hotel to see if they could’ve done something but didn’t want to bother them since they weren’t on site after 10pm.
