Breng uw West Glacier vakantie door in de stijl van het meer in dit rustieke, maar toch chique huisje met alle voordelen! Ongeacht de tijd van het jaar, zult u altijd gezellig blijven bij de open haard en de buiten-chimenea op het wrap-around dek. Bereid heerlijke maaltijden met behulp van de gas grill en de volledige keuken met roestvrijstalen apparaten, en geniet van een prachtig uitzicht op het bos, de bergen en het meer vanuit het hele huis.

Wat is in de buurt:
Deze hut ligt aan de oevers van Lake Five, waar u naar hartelust kunt zwemmen, vissen en varen. Je bent minder dan vijf mijl verwijderd van de westelijke ingang van Glacier National Park en de Glacier View Golf Club. Wandelaars en mountainbikers zullen geen betere plek vinden om te verkennen, want de omgeving is bezaaid met routes om uit te kiezen.

Parkeerinformatie: Parkeer voor het huis en in de haven van de auto. Parkeer niet op een manier die de toegang tot de stal blokkeert. Rijd alstublieft in en uit de noordkant van de ronde oprijlaan (de rechterkant bij het binnenkomen en de linkerkant bij het verlaten). De andere kant gaat recht door andere hutten.

Watertoegang: Het huis ligt aan het water. Er is een pad uit de achterste schuifdeur naar het water. Het is geen strand, maar eerder een met gras begroeide ruimte die naar het water leidt.

Bringing family to Glacier
Would have given a 5 in reviews if the lights/lamps would turn on and we could get WIFI. Troubleshooted and gave up after a erd try. Place is amazing and the service too. Id definitely use them again, hands down!

A few glitches which could have been corrected before we show up
Fruit-flies swarmed when first checked in. Lights were not all functioning; dryer was out; dishwasher needed some figuring out; AC was very helpful but was prohibited to use in the instruction. Tain going all night long and if windows opened, train horns blasted all night, couldn't sleep. Called the communication center, the maintenance crew responded but the communication was spotty and way delayed. Bummer!

Property was not exactly as listed. There is NO AC. There is a portable unit that is not set up. Windows with screens still allowed gnats to enter house. Internet was very slow. The house was clean and well appointed. We enjoyed the loons, the lake views and trains. Very close to Glacier National Park Apgar area.

Great property and so nicely decorated. The lake view is great. The location is so close to Glacier park. Rained Wednesday but the cabin was so nice to just relax and play games. Would definitely recommend

Beautiful location…….but the train!!
This house is very nice and beautifully located in a lake with a railroad across the way. I knew there was going to be trains, I just didn’t realize it was like 20+ per day. When we arrived there was molding bread in the cupboard (totally covered in mold), stray pringles can in the living room and the main air filter that hasn’t been cleaned in a decade. Not a great intro to the house. Reviews from a year ago mentioned the washer machine not working, which still hasn’t been fixed. That was a pain because we all specifically packed thinking we could do laundry. Wifi is total crap and works part of the time but was not super surprising based on the remoteness.

Filthy upon arrival. Sign on Washer said it was broken and do not use. No Wifi. Neither the broken washer nor the lack of WIFI disclosed prior to arrival despite house being advertised as having both. Filthy bathrooms and kitchen. Never again.

Glacier Retreat
This property is wonderful and spacious. Beautiful retreat location on Lake 5 and easy access to Glacier National Park West entrance. One note that there are many trains that go by the property, but we found it amusing!

We enjoyed our stay. For the price point we encourage the owners to provide better linens, shower liners and clean the “fishing area” on the porch, it was smelly.

The location was great and we loved the wrap around porch. Many kitchen items were not clean, all of the sinks and showers are not draining properly. Upstairs bathroom is need of repair.

Great family vacation
Great cabin, very close to the Glacier National Park entrance. Very clean and had all kitchen utensils needed to cook at home. Gas grill was great for cooking salmon, steak and chicken. Owner/Vacassa was not very responsive but really didn’t have any issues. While the train does come through a lot, The train did not bother us at all. Lake is nice but to cold for swimming. Overall, great place place to stay to visit Glacier and would stay again

Great family cabin & location for Glacier NP
The cabin was a perfect size for our family. Our kids loved it and the kids’ room was great. We had really rainy weather during our stay, so I was glad we had plenty of space inside and a nice washer and dryer available. The kids loved the board games and TV and even went in the chilly lake water a couple times. The location is great for access to the west side of Glacier National Park. The train was quite loud when sitting outside on the deck, but it did not interfere with most of our sleep. The trains are pretty frequent just on the other side of the lake, but the location and views of the lake are so gorgeous that we didn’t mind. It was a great choice for a family-friendly cabin near the national park.

VRBO listening was not accurate. We were notified about the active train tracks across the lake a few days before our arrival. We would not have booked this home had we known about the trains. Two microwaves in the house and neither one worked. Wifi network was not available as advertised. House needs a deep clean really bad. Kitchen not well stocked with proper cookware and such like other homes we’ve rented. Fire place was nice and location to Glacier NP was great. Large deck as nice and enjoyable when trains were not going by.

Great “cabin/wood life” property
The location of the home was spectacular! Sits right on a beautiful lake. The size of the house was great. We did try to reach out to property manager and didn’t get a response, but our stay was perfect. Internet/ phone connection was difficult.

Great Mountain Cabin
Great cabin, roomy, clean, and comfortable. Awesome deck with beautiful view of lake. Very convenient to West Glacier and the park. Well equipped with dished and cookware. Wifi internet is very slow, but hey, that's not why you're there. All in all we had an excellent stay.

Nice home outside just outside Glacier National Park
Please note, this home is near a very active rail road track. The train runs through the night every couple of hours and does blow the whistle right across the lake from the house. We were awakened several times each night of our stay. The home had everything we needed for a nice stay. We were 5 mins drive to the west entrance of the park and several good restaurants. We did stay in and cook also in the well stocked kitchen. Several mornings we woke to beautiful deer in the yard.

Lake Five greatly enhanced our Glacier NP experience
.This beautiful log home exceeded our expectations Liked upstairs nook. Kitchen well stocked pots, pans, DW, fridge. Awesome porch with dining table made for restful meals after long hikes. Trains and calm lake greatly added to the ambiance. Fireplace terrific. Location so close to West Entrance to park. Comfortable furniture. We had a delightful experience!
