'Hotel has a beautiful carved maple lobby, beautiful view of the illinois river & friendlt and accomodating staff. Rooms are nice. Some of the hallways etc could use some updating. Nice and quiet with excellent complimentary coffee in the mornings. Irish pub within walking distance as well as excellent pizza at Hoops Pizza and beer. Also located next to I 74 with wasy access'

'Nice place. Good stay. There was some construction in one wing. I didn't hear anything, but it did distract from the overall look and feel. Obviously they are doing a remodel, so that is good to see. '

'Curt at the front desk was very kind & helpful. The breakfast buffet was amazing that it offered Gluten Free options like bagels, breads, vegan sausages! They had tags to communicate which rooms had pets! The water & fruit in the foyer was a nice touch!'
