'Enjoyed our first stay at the Old Barn and knew it would be perfect for a quiet romantic getaway. It didn’t disappoint! Soaking in the hot tub in a cool gentle rain then warming up in the luxurious shower and cuddling up in the huge comfortable bed were exactly what we needed. And I loved the chance to serenade my husband on the baby grand! We’re already looking forward to our next stay! '

The location allowed us easy access to multiple plans all around the Portland area. And our hosts were helpful and kind! 'We arrived at 1 in the morning in a weeknight. The owner was very thorough with directions on where to park and the codes needed to get inside. The place was clean and looking just like the pictures. They provided descriptions of the area and to-do’s. We had a wonderful time; Was just the break we needed.'

'Place was very nice but there were a couple of things that could have been better. First, the lighting is not as bright as shown. All the lights are yellow & not very bright at all. The ceiling fan light in one of the rooms didn’t even work. There were some crumbs left in the couch and there was a nasty stain on one of the bed blankets. One of the bedrooms also didn’t lock. The walls are super thin so we could hear the neighbors when they were really loud at night. Other than that, it was a cool...

'Heel ruime kamer, centraal gelegen. Kamer wordt wel maar om de twee dagen schoongemaakt, wat wil zeggen dat je ook maar om de twee dagen koffie of thee hebt, want er was maar net genoeg voor een dag per persoon. Veilig systeem voor de lift: je kan alleen met je keycard de lift naar boven doen gaan. Valet parking is erg duur, je kan veilig parkeren onder het bankgebouw aan de overkant, maar dat is toch duurder dan de prijs die het hotelpersoneel opgaf. '

Prima hotel, wel gedateerd

"Prima hotel, wel oud en wat gedateerd. We kregen een gratis upgrade naar een junior suite. Nu hadden we een heel groot king size bed en een extra woonkamer met bank en fauteuils en een extra tv. Wel kreeg je pas warm water in de douche als je eerst warm water bij de wastafel gebruikte. Douche was niet schoon, spinnenweb hing aan t plafond, en veel schimmel en eea was ook stuk. Wel lekker redelijk groot zwembad met veel prima zitjes"
