'EVERYTHING as described and more. Place was so clean you'd of thought we were the first guests. Hosts were very accessible via text during our stay. The construction of this tree house is amazing and detailed. The ability to sit at a fire even during rain was a plus and complete with barn owls calling in the distance at night. Minutes away from a small town with a great breakfast diner, but completely secluded in the woods. We just can't say enough about how cool this place is.'

'My wife and I recently made the short trip from the Buffalo, NY area to the town of Skaneatles, which we have been to many times. However, this was the first time renting a house in the area as we wanted to bring our two dogs. We could not have been more pleased with this home and its location. Only about a two-three minute drive from the town of Skaneatles, it provided us with a "home away from hone" setting while still being able to conveniently go into town for dinner, drinks and shopping....

'Casa Carmela is a beautiful home with a lovely beachfront and fantastic sunset views. Our group of 8 were comfortable and had plenty of room to gather for meals or games. It is convenient to both Auburn and Skaneateles. The house was well appointed and equipped. Owner was responsive and checked in with us to make sure we had what we needed. '

'Ellen and Adam were wonderful hosts. It was my husband's birthday weekend, and they surprised us with a nice focaccia bread, cupcakes from a local bakery, and birthday candles to boot!! The view from the 2nd floor space is reminiscent of a Finger Lakes winery overlooking Otisco Lake and surrounding rolling hills so typical of this area--So nice!!'

'This was a great stay. The home was very clean and cozy. The weather was very cold, but as soon as we walked into the home we warmed right up. The beds were comfortable, and the linen was very clean. The parking was a private driveway which was great to be able to park off the street. We would highly suggest staying here. '

'We all had a wonderful stay at the home across a long weekend. The host was very responsive and helpful with any questions. The kitchen has plenty of space for many people to cook. Living room comfortably fit 12-18 people and the temperature was comfortable.Only thing to note was the piano was fairly out of tune and the trundle pull out was a bit dirty but otherwise everything was clean.'

'I chose this place as a weekend retreat for some women in my family and we had a great time. It was easy to focus on each other and also spend some time praying and studying the Bible. Beautiful farm country and no tv distraction. Only downside was not having a bathroom downstairs but going upstairs was the only exercise we did all weekend so we didn't mind. We'd love to visit again!'

'We stayed for a few nights over the holidays. The space is a renovated antique barn with absolutely beautiful and rustic interior decoration. The bed was so comfy, we cooked a few meals in the apt as well, and enjoyed a lovely morning walk around the pond into the neighboring field/park they’ve cleared. Host was extremely responsive and easy to contact. We had a very lovely time!'

'We arrived on Friday to attend a Syracuse crunch game and we have no idea Saturday would be parade day (St Patrick’s)! We were supposed to check out Saturday, but we couldn’t leave because all the roads were blocked for the parade. Luckily, the hotel had a room and we ended up staying another night. I am so glad we did because the hotel offered a variety activities regarding the parade and we had the absolutely best time. '
