'I had delays in getting to the hotel as I was participating in a tournament in David City. I was attended by the owner, Mr. Jaume who waited for me to arrive to the hotel through the late hours. I reached the hotel at 11:30pm and he was there waiting for me for check-in. He was patient, cordial and helped me carry my bags to the room. 'This lodge is far more than a hotel. It is an experience. They take excellent care of you. The food is amazing and the details in preperation is top quality. My spouse and I enjoyed the realxed atmosphere but also the activities. We went on the wildlife tour, the bat caves and snorkeling (arranged by La Loma). All were fun.
