'The property is situated right on the bank of the river Nile and our room had a view of the river. The roof top restaurant also overlooked the Nile. The room itself was large but very basic containing only a queen size bed and 1 small bedside cabinet. There was a closet to hang clothes. The bathroom had 1 of those folding doors which was off its track. No soundproofing there, you can hear people talking at all hours and chairs being pushed back. The food there is superb. 'Hosting family was very kind and friendly and cooked lovely evening meal for us (we were charged additional €25 for it). Apartment had plenty of space with comfortable beds. However, it was very cold, heater was broken and there was no hot water. I would say it was overpriced for its standards. '
