'This was a wonderful retreat from the general DC area. Communication with owner was perfect. Space nicely laid out with everything you need, and it is minutes from the artsy, small stores and intimate restaurants in town, Shepherd University, the path along the C and O Canal, the Sunday morning farmers market, and much more! Folks who live in Shepherdstown are naturally friendly, helpful, and so welcoming to visitors. A great place to chill or be more active and simply get a refreshing g break....

'Very nice old farmhouse in a quiet and relaxing setting. Large grassy and wooded section to the front of the house that featured deer & turkeys. The house was cozy & comfortable & had everything we needed to relax after a day of sightseeing in Gettysburg.'
