'This home was so much more than I expected. It was unique with its cozy southwestern flair. It was very clean and had all the amenities you would need. My husband and I had the whole house to ourselves and talked about how lovely it would be to come back with family at the holidays. The host was friendly and very accessible for any need. There are several steps in the home but they were clearly marked for safety. The beds were SO COMFORTABLE! This is an amazing place to stay. '

'Really like the location and quiet of the property. Very private. The front door knob was loose, and the inside fireplace grate needs to be replaced. I would also suggest some sort of turn in indicator off of the main road. Perhaps a collection of different headlight reflectors. It is very dark and hard to see where to safely turn off the main road.'

'Property is as seen in the property description. The location is not what we expected. It is remote but when outside there is traffic noise from the highway and the view includes a couple of mobile homes. But it worked well for us as we were really just there for the sleeping arrangements and were out of the house during the day. '

'The property as a whole was very good. However, there were several concerns: Hot tub was NOT sanitary and unable to be used, there was not bar soap for bathroom use, light bulbs in the bedroom did not work, welcome mat was not available to wipe feet because it was left in the rain. Consideration should be made to make the stairs safe by adding grip strips to keep from slipping when wet.'

'Really enjoyed this beautiful home with a well thought out floor plan. Full kitchen amenities but no Pod coffee maker fyi. Hot tub was a great feature. '

'First off, we enjoyed our stay. It was a very quiet place. Check in was easy. Just a few items that need attention : Overall the house needed a good cleaning. I actually ended up cleaning it when I arrived. There was no hot water in the sink to clean dishes with The water pressure in the bathroom was barely enough to clean your toothbrush much less yourself in the shower A lot of small items need repair - Old holes in the walls from Outlets, no where to hang bathroom hand towel, pool house...

'My husband & I booked this stay for our honeymoon. First couple of nights we had to ourselves and the weekend we had close friends stay with us. We have 2 dogs and this rental was absolutely wonderful for a cozy gathering. We will definitely be booking again!'

'6 adults stayed during the Thanksgiving holidays. We did not take advantage of any of the outdoor activities the house has to offer. We only slept there but the house was very clean and well stocked . We will definitely consider staying there again . '

'We had the best stay at Southwind! The hidden bedroom was perfect for 4 of our 5 kids with plenty of space for each of them to sleep and play. The master bedroom fit me, my husband and our almost 2 year old with lots of room to spare! The two remaining bedrooms were perfect for my sister and father with their own private bathrooms. Our kids loved exploring the property and just being kids unplugged! We loved this spacious, clean, modern home for our stay in Wimberly. Everything was as pictured...

'The location was felt slightly farther away then I thought but that just might be because of the hill country roads and no street lights. You pull up and park at the back of the building and enter through a gate to reach the door. Check in was easy with a code and the place was perfect for a weekend spot .'
