' We spent five nights in the petite apartment, which is beautiful, spacious and very well equipped. Lovely gardens, swimming pool and a braai. The maintenance and cleaning is to a very high standard, WiFi worked well. It’s well located in a quiet / safe area, pleasant walk to an abundance of great restaurants, cafes and wine bars. Highly recommend a visit, we’ll be back!'

'Wonderful stay in the exquisite two bedroom apartment. Spotlessly clean and luxurious. Beautiful views from the apartment and excellent location too. The owner and her colleague were also very helpful and went above and beyond. Would highly recommend. '

'Beautiful House in a stunningly beautiful location! I loved the warm welcome, the attention to detail & the fabulous interior design. The views of the vineyard are incomparable and breathtakingly picturesque. The pears growing on the walls of the house are unbelievable! I didn’t want to leave! '

'En fantastisk jätte stor fransk inspirerad lägenhet mitt i Franschhoek centrum. Jättefint utrostad. Poolen är ganska liten och kolla med hotellet i förhand och gör avtal med hänsyn till avhämtningen av nyckel etc.'

'This apartment was an excellent choice in the centre of Franschhoek.'

'Erg leuk verblijf. Zeer aardige en gastvrije gastvrouw (Lynn) en gastheer (Mick). Heel gunstig gelegen op loopafstand van restaurants, winkels, galleries van Franschhoek. Zeer rustig, eigen afgesloten parkeerterrein. Twee ingangen: één aan de Wilhelminastraat en één aan de voorkant, recht tegenover het Hugenotenmonument. Elke dag veel verse spullen in de koelkast (o.a. brood en kaas voor ontbijt), gratis Nespresso, gratis wifi. Mooi zwembad.'

'Very nice stay at a beautiful location. The cottages was very nice and comfortable. Communication was very good. '

'The facilities at this property were very minimal for what is offered as a furnished holiday let. A salt and pepper set would have been nice. We had flat 2 which is not air conditioned but an air-conditioning unit outside our suite was noisy and disturbing.'

'This was a perfect affordable spot for our stay in Franschhoek. It’s a small room, but very cute and thoughtfully planned with everything you need. Just a couple blocks to the Main Street with restaurants and from the wine tram. Would not hesitate to stay here again.'

'Glamping at its best. Well equipped kitchen, the outdoor hot tub was great, comfy beds, great shower. Beautiful settings, relaxing atmosphere. All great. '

'Verbleven hier met onze 2 kinderen van 6&7. Prima niet overdreven luxe huisje. Klein zwembadje buiten. Voor t huisje bistrostoeltjes die niet lekker zitten. Er lopen 4 grote Duitse herders rond die het terrein bewaken: 1 hapte naar mijn jongste, niet echt fijn maar gelukkig geen verwonding. Het huisje ligt vlakbij een drukke weg. Er is geen airco. Budgettechnisch gezien voor Franschhoek een prima keuze, maar het had niet de charme, ligging of luxe die we zijn tegengekomen bij andere...

'The Valley lodge is Excellent in respect of amenities, safety, restaurants, the staff at the restaurants and lodge are helpful. The food at the restaurant was excellent as well. The host was attentive to our needs and request all the time. She really deserves 5 stars ✨. The Valley lodge really lives up to its name.'
