'AC did not work and they couldn’t fix it. The water pressure was also extremely low which made it hard to shower and even flush the toilet. There was an awesome guy working 24/7 who was trying to solve all problems. Thumbs up to him. '

'Such a beautiful property! It was not crowded during our stay so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. Our suite was a bigger sized suite that was perfect for us. It looked out of the front of the property, and we had a little bit of a beach/ ocean view. The breakfast that’s included was made fresh every morning. The staff was very attentive. The pool was amazing. I would definitely stay here again. '

'Wir waren vom 10.auf den 11.Oktober Gäste im RETRO . Das Zimmer war zweckmäßig,das Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig. Alles in allem sehr angenehm und entspannt. Würden wir wieder buchen. '

'the villa is as shown in the photos. Very friendly staff, happy to help you. The beach is within walking distance, which is ideal. local shops also such as supermarket, gift shop or pharmacy. The food at the villa is also very tasty. What you have to keep in mind is that everything closes at 10 p.m. in Zanzibar, including at the villa. The only thing that is a pity is the people around the villa/beach disturb you every minute. Yes and the paths where you have to walk and there is no light...

'Hotel is ver van het levendige gebied af. 2 personeelsleden waren geweldig 1/ degene die mij had ingecheckt heeft mij ontzettend geholpen met vervoer naar het andere Baraka hotel (personeel daar ook geweldig). 2/ degene die mij informatie heeft volstrekt over de schildpadden ook super! Hij had al mijn vragen beantwoord en nog eens fotos van mij en de schildpadden genomen. Kijk uit voor de beveiliger als je alleen reist.'
