'We enjoyed our stay. Being only 15 minutes from places to eat, we had total privacy and quiet. The surrounding forest and nearby river are great and make you feel like you have escaped somewhere. Plenty of room for a family of four with a loft and a private room. Living space was nicely setup. If you want to prep your own meals during a stay, this place has all that you would need. Checked out in the AM - clerk asked how our stay was - told her about no shampoo - she said no they have shampoo and the clerk last night should have had plenty to give - W/E Place needs a major upgrade...... 'The room was just wonderful, with a spa. I only needed to stay for a few hours as I went hiking, needed to rest, shower, and then drive 4 hours home. This was wonderful, clean, and just where I needed it to be. I will be staying here again if need be.'

'We booked this place as a bed and breakfast. No breakfast. No staff on site. No information was provided at the hotel to help us find things in the area. We were not informed that this was a "self check in hotel" until after the cancellation date. 'The owner had the place ready to go when we arrived. It was a late arrival, but there were outside lights that were warm and inviting. Plenty of space for our party of 12 (6 adults and 6 kids). Kitchen was welled stocked with cooking necessities, great hangout spaces in the basement and first floor, and a convenient space for ski boots and outer gear in the basement near parking.
