'We only stayed one night, but the Strater will always be remembered. What a fantastic piece of working history. Every inch of this hotel is impressive. The staff are lovely and seem to love the hotel and their jobs. I was amazed at the quantity of staff who take care of this gem. We will be back. We had recently stayed at the El Tovar, which was terrific, but we put the Strater beside it. I think the Strater is better maintained with nicer amenities. '

'We stayed at the Hotel Colorado one night. It was clean and comfortable. Our check-in was easy and we received an upgraded room without even requesting it, and were given the option of a lower or higher floor. We paid $15 for parking in one of their lots, which was easy. Also, given the option to park on street for free.'
