'My daughter and I stayed at Heritage House during a college visit. We loved everything about Heritage House - the property, the room, the service, the neighborhood, and the town of Opelika, which is just a few blocks away. We walked to dinner. In the morning, we had a wonderful breakfast and took a nice walk in the neighborhood. We will definitely stay here again!'

'Well, the sign in the front yard says, "Welcome to the lake house." My question is where's the lake? The outside was very terrible. The back porch mentioned had so many limbs and leaves on it, we had to kick them off to open the door. The garbage can was already half full. The dock was so far away and down a very steep hill. Not recommended for older folks. We had to stop and rest 3 times before we got to the cabin. Was supposed to stay until Saturday but left on Wednesday morning. Noone told us...

'Stayed here as a family of 5- my brother stayed with his family of 3 in another unit. We were in town for my dad’s birthday celebration. The property is beautiful- the outside area in back was amazing for our family to gather and the kids to play. The putt putt and floor jenga and other games kept them so entertained. Everything was fenced in so the safety was an added bonus. The water views with the cafe lights were so pretty. Loved the fireplace too. Check in was easy although first door code...

'We stayed in two upstairs rooms at the beautiful Waverly Bed and Breakfast after an Auburn game. Everything was perfect! It was an incredibly convenient location, and the owners could not have been more gracious. The breakfast was delicious too! We look forward to being able to stay longer in the future! '

'We found the location convenient as it's on the main road through Mentone. Both the bedroom and bathroom were clean, as was the hot tub. The owner was also responsive and helpful. And having breakfast right down the hall every morning was a nice plus! Worth noting that, while the place is dog friendly, the yard is not fenced in and, again, is right on the main road.
