'Karen was such an amazing host her Bed and Breakfast was Beautiful. My Mom and I were so relaxed we put on face masks before bed and I enjoyed the claw foot tub soaking in the luxurious spa-like HUGE bathroom. We had coffee with candlelight in the morning in the four poster bed. The balcony was nice to sit out on and look at the Christmas lites around the quiet neighborhood at night. 'Amazing place! They thought of everything and the town is cute too with a restaurant(depot deli and grill) and nano brewery(oversoul brewing) within walking distance. Everything looked new and clean. The outdoor deck area has a put put hole, cornhole, giant connect 4, fire pit and hot tub(not hot in summer, so more like a little pool). 'We stayed in two upstairs rooms at the beautiful Waverly Bed and Breakfast after an Auburn game. Everything was perfect! It was an incredibly convenient location, and the owners could not have been more gracious. The breakfast was delicious too! We look forward to being able to stay longer in the future! '

'Well, the sign in the front yard says, "Welcome to the lake house." My question is where's the lake? The outside was very terrible. The back porch mentioned had so many limbs and leaves on it, we had to kick them off to open the door. The garbage can was already half full. The dock was so far away and down a very steep hill. Not recommended for older folks. We had to stop and rest 3 times before we got to the cabin. Was supposed to stay until Saturday but left on Wednesday morning. Noone told us...

'We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mardi Gras house. We really hated to see that it was being sold but hopefully the new owners will continue to have it a Bed and Breakfast. It was conveniently located for all our needs. The house keeper was available at all times and very accommodating. The room was way better than expected. The decor was fabulous!!! If it does continue to be a bed and breakfast we will continue to use it as long as we can. '

'This is a hidden gem downtown in Opelika Alabama ans a short drive to Auburn. The host and hostess, owners of the property go out of their way to make your stay the most comfortable and enjoyable experience. The property is well maintained, clean, quiet and inviting. 'We found the location convenient as it's on the main road through Mentone. Both the bedroom and bathroom were clean, as was the hot tub. The owner was also responsive and helpful. And having breakfast right down the hall every morning was a nice plus! Worth noting that, while the place is dog friendly, the yard is not fenced in and, again, is right on the main road.
