'Eight16 was the perfect spot for our group of ten adults and three kids. It’s beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. The layout is great in that even with a big group, there’s places to go to get some social recharge. The beds were supremely comfortable. Chatting to the host was a delight. Seriously, the only negative I can think of was the lack of closet space. But aside from that 10/10. '

'This property was a short drive to the caves and water park and was very quiet. There was another group that stayed in the larger home closer to the street and we wouldn’t have known they were there had we not seen their cars. We got to enjoy the pool before they arrived which was nice. We’d forgotten our beach towels, but they were provided by the property owners. We were surprised with home made cupcakes which was a nice touch . All-in all we really loved this stay and would stay again.'

'Highly recommended! Chris and Chuck were amazing hosts. The cottage is very welcoming, comfortable, clean and nicely decorated for the season. It was stocked with everything you could need, the fresh eggs were a nice treat. It was great for our family of 5. We spent a lot of time outside and sitting under the gazebo with a fire. The cottage is nicely located 20-30 minutes from most cave attractions and Bowling Green. The hilly winding roads give a great southern feel. We would love to stay...

'Attended a conference at Barren River Resort State Park nearby. The lodge was sold out, so we needed a place nearby. We were lucky to find Dandy TImes, which is less than two miles from the State Park. The place was exceptionally clean, neat and tidy and everything was in perfect working order. Getting in the house when we arrived was a snap, due to great instructions from the owner. Communications were friendly, accurate and easy. I'd definitely stay there again!'

'House was clean but had heavy cigarette smoke with the smell of deodorizer trying to cover it up. I don’t complain about much but I hate that smell. Other than that everything worked out.'

'They double-booked our rental and made us move our vacation dates - not an easy task for a group this large. We found a cheeto, a lip ring and a tac on the carpet in one of the bedrooms, the Keurig coffee maker did not work at all, there was a loose tile around the pool which could have been very dangerous, one of the bedrooms had wet carpet following a rain, there was a hole in the bathroom ceiling, and the bathrooms listed on the website are not accurate - there are only three full bathrooms....
