'The hotel was oke-ish. Rooms are noisy (I had bad luck to have a couple of kids next door), also for traffic noise. Rooms are kind of clean but not perfectly clean. The bed was comfortable though! The building needs some serious maintenance. Breakfast was bad, like so bad I would advice to just do not offer breakfast to the guests. It saves money and a big disappointment..'

'We booked Colonial Inn for a family trip to WNC in September, but had to cancel due to Hurricane Helene. We decided to rebook at Colonial to celebrate my daughter's graduation from WCU. The first plus was the affordable rates, second that they will allow pets, and third they provide a light breakfast. The rooms are clean and cozy. The area is well lit. The walking area for pets is ample. And the property is quiet. I hope to be back in the spring to take advantage of the fire pit! '
